Happy Sunday! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Binie came a bit down but not where I want her to be. Last night she saw some yellow numbers and today she is in pink again but without these ugly red and black numbers. I wonder if she comes down tonight. Seems like 2.25 IU is not enough for her.

I installed a new sensor and am a bit anxious how it will work due to stupid placement. I was so happy when it stuck ("Yeahhh") and then realized it is quite close to her hip a second later ("Oh f****"). Seems I am a slow learner. :banghead:

The last days she stopped licking her breast completely, today it seems she started again. :( Her skin is completely healed now, which was really fast. That is the picture she allowed me to do, she removed the fur completely in one area:

The second batch of kefir was drinkable but I will make another one, before I try to introduce in Binies supplements. Can't wait for Binie and me to get ten years younger because of perfect gut health. :):cat:

Hope everyone has a realxed Sunday! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

"Why do you always hide my additional cat bed mom and only get it out now and then for a few minutes?" Binie loves her scale. :)

The left sensor is the old one and is soaking in coconut oil right now. The right sensor is new. Seems I didn't place it as bad as I thought, as her hip is going up behind the sensor. So we might be lucky this time.... Placing it more in the front results in licking on it. So it is a limbo dance....

lol. On the scale!!
Looks like it’s the same spot on the other side. So hoping it works great, Heike.
Hoping by now it’s up and running just fine. Sending positive thoughts to you both.
Sorry to hear she’s licking more today. Hoping she will get tired of that and stop again. She seems to go on and off her cycles of licking. I wonder why.

Ivy gets angry with me if I put her on the scale so you’re lucky Binie tolerates that. But then again a lot of things make Ivy angry.
We just have to keep doing the best we can for them whether they like it or not and hopefully it’s over in a minute.
And then they’ve already forgotten about it:rolleyes:

glad to hear the Kiefer batch worked out and hoping your next batch is even better. Good job on that.

Hoping she comes back down again gently. Do you think he will give an increase? If you do, I’m wishing you all the best with that.

Have a safe surf Binie and a calm night ahead for both of you:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Staci,

thank you so much ! :bighug::bighug::bighug: Did you ever try to put a towel on the scale? Binie loves to make herself comfortable on towels so this is very inviting to her. And there is always a little snack on the towel. So she goes on it herself. I wouldn't manage to put her on it and to stay on it long enough to get a result. In addition I would lose an arm or a finger.
With Binie I can only work with patience and bribery. :)

So good Ivy doesn't stay angry for long. Binie is the same. I heard some cats stay angry for days after the vet.

The sensor on the right side is a tiny bit more up because her hips are different on both sides. The right side is the problem side so I every two weeks we have to go through it.

Yes, the kefir was much better but I need a bit more practice before I give it to Binie. It tastes quite different to the store brought stuff and it is difficult not to compare. I hope it works well on Binie. Her gut needs some help after month of antibiotics.

I will wait until Tuesday (this is day 7) and then ask for adivice about the dose. As I am away on Wednesday, I will increase in the night if necessary. This is a bit sad, as we have been down to 1 IU already. But she needs what she needs.....

I hope she doesn't start licking with full force again. It was always like that - she stopped - she started again. Sometimes with weeks inbetween. I think we will never know why.

Many hugs for you and a kiss in the air (safety ) for Ivy! :bighug::kiss::bighug:

I guess it’s true that boys are easier ;):)

I need to put some shelf liner on my scale, it’s glass which I love for easy cleaning but methos has trouble with traction these days.
Heike, Binie has such a sweet face —I’d spend all my time kissing her nose! And rubbing Ivy’s fuzzy feet. Both of your girls are adorable, I can’t believe they have a temper

I hope your sweet girls are soon back to normal !

I can’t believe they have a temper

Unfortunately that makes Binie only more dangerous. :) I still remember the first time she was standing in front of my door. All sweet and friendly looking. I let her in and she was rolling in front of me and showed me her sweet belly like she wants to say! "Pleeeeeeeease, give me a belly rub." I think you know how the story ended.

I see Methos is still bouncing from his long stretch of blue. I hope you and the boys got some sleep. I had to look at his picture with his sugar sweet but tired face many times. He is such a cute boy. I hope your finger are better. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
