This morning I almost tried to draw insulin out of the calipers instead of the pen. And then I went to throw away the testing strip & lancet with the Lantus in my other hand and almost tossed the Lantus.
It's just one of those days...
Anyone have a MUST for Thanksgiving?
Mine is Cook's Illustrated pumpkin pie. You cook the yams and pumpkin and then press them through a food mill, which results in the smoothest, silkiest pumpkin pie. It's really worth all the extra effort.

. My brother and his family are bringing the majority of the food. I just have to clean the house, set the table, make the stuffing and the turkey gravy and create the ambiance. I don't really have a must other than the turkey. It is the only time of the year that we eat it (poor turkeys - I should be a vegan). I'm still trying to figure out how to perfect the gravy. Happy Thanksgiving, Joey!
