Last night was Mocha's first night on his new diet. We are trying 50/50 boiled chicken and FF. This would be a 'modified' version of the diarrhea diet my vet would normally prescribe. She wanted me to mix in white rice or plain mashed potato, but I am not going to do that.
Question: Maybe rice water would be a workable compromise? I used it for a little while last week and was worried it was sending his BG's up. Would that be an accurate assessment :?:
We are still doing the clay and I am getting the probiotic today. I saw a recommendation for cat grass in the health forum, so maybe I will start some seeds today.
We have switched over completely to the OneTouch because I am out of test strips for the GE. I want to use up these expensive test strips, but then I am going to go buy the Relion and use the GE as my back up (also a inexpensive meter). My mom will just have to learn to like another meter  Good numbers this morning though, today is curve day. He was so much trouble this morning with his AMPS that I am not looking forward to the rest of the day. But maybe he was just hungry this morning.
