Crazy weekend, Jack did well Saturday I guess, started and ended yellow, who knows what he did during the day. Traffic wasn't too bad going in, coming home was another story but I was able to get home with 15 minutes to spare before he needed insulin so I'll take it as a win. I thought I would see more yellow yesterday, but he bounced to 404...not amused that his body bounced after a day of yellow; green and maybe blue I'll accept, but yellow? Not happy. I have a ton of running around to do this week, I think I'll hold the 7 units another day, then see about increasing. I hate to increase when I'm not around to monitor and with mom's impending visit and all the cleaning/shopping/cooking nonsense time is a very limited thing this week. Jack is totally back to normal behavior wise, he was running full speed after kittens early Saturday morning, sounded like a herd of elephants galloping through my house, but he did get some nice exercise. The vet finally called, she is totally perplexed by his bloodwork. Pretty much what I said, some type of infection, she thought she would see higher counts on some specific white blood cell levels but since he is feeling better, all she could come up with was 'mystery infection' that responded to treatment :banghead::banghead:

Not sure how often I'll be on this week- wishing you all a very happy and peaceful Thanksgiving and saying prayers of thanks for all of your support and friendship. You all definitely make this journey with Jack a million times better. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Good start of the week, Christine!
And I totally agree with you - this place has been a lifesaver for me in this very rough and unpredictable journey!
I too value the support and kind words we exchange, and hilarious comments that melt stress away.
I am eternally grateful.

Sounds like a super-busy week ahead of you. Take good care of yourself as well. Enjoy Thanksgiving (eat a lot! :p)
