Previous Condo.

I wanted to post a Condo today solely so I could share this pic of Michelangelo. He's so weird with his front legs and will sit on chairs and at the top of the stairs with his legs dangling down.

Wonder if that's a Maine Coon thing? They seem to have those long legs.

Mine do that kind of thing also.

Re: 11/19 Michelangelo AMPS 213

Here's another one of him doing it. Just one leg this time because he sometimes likes to change it up a bit, but he usually has them both hanging down.

And just for comparison purposes, I found this video of Mikey about a day or two after I got him where he was still learning how to climb the stairs. His leg is now bigger than he was!

Re: 11/19 Michelangelo AMPS 213

When Chip was diagnosed, the original vet pointed out his plantigrade stance as an indicator of FD.

I thought she meant his jackrabbit haunches. I had this twinge of horror that all the cats were at risk because of this "distinctive marker" for FD.

Fortunately neuropathy is likely unrelated to the long legs and jackrabbit haunches.

Adorable and so cooperative! cat_pet_icon

So that would have been before he was diagnosed?

Re: 11/19 Michelangelo AMPS 213

Yep, before he was diagnosed when we thought he was simply malnourished. He was 8 weeks old in that video and only weighed 12 ounces...and most of it was his head.

Today is picture day! Here's another one, showing how long he is (and he's not even fully stretched out):

His BGs haven't moved an inch today and that was with two "different" meters: my upstairs Prime for his AMPS and my downstairs Prime for his +6.

It's amazing how much he's grown in such a short time! Once he was diagnosed diabetic and started getting insulin at 6 months, he started growing as a kitten should and he quickly caught up to proper weight/size by 8 months. That was a whole heck of a lot of growing in between!

Of course it's Unlike the Unrelion Prime to be *that* consistent with yellow. ;-)

I too have an UnRelion Prime as well as backup UnRelion Prime. But the Prime/Vital is ReLiably ReLiable at the all important mid-green numbers.

Speaking of which Miney Miney Mega has been looking good at 2U! Chip is down to just a fat 2U but it looks like Chip's reduction is failing.

This is Nicholas few months ago. I walked in and there he was asleep on my desk. Looks more like a frat house photo after a night of clubbing.

Hahahaha! That "frat house" photo is priceless!

I caught Mikey this morning sleeping under a pillow! :o What a weirdo.

Maybe Henry was making too much noise and he couldn't sleep any other way. LOL They are such characters, and they can pick up your mood when they do things like that.
