11/17 Mo. 252 AMPS...Wait on insulin?

Mo just started Lantus yesterday. His AMPS numbers were almost always high with Novolin in the AM, and if I were to give him his dose at a BG of 252 he would drop low after. This morning (on Lantus), his AMPS is 252... Should I wait on his shot? I'm worried about him dropping low. I know Lantus doesn't hit hard like Novolin, but just want some opinions as we are new to Lantus.
 
I’m not sure how much your other insulin data will translate to Lantus. 200 mg/dL is normally the shooting cutoff for new folks. Looks like you’re above that. Can you get a couple tests today?

I just checked him again (715) after eating at 630 and now he is down to 208.
