She's talking about getting a test about 3-4 hours after he eats to see if his pancreas is kicking in and pulling down his blood sugar.
So if you're testing that ambg at 7am, for example, and today you got a 126, feed him his regular breakfast and then test him about 10-11am to see if his pancreas has put out enough insulin to pull his blood sugar down a bit.
That relates to what I mentioned to you yesterday (or the day before) about giving him a bite of food at +9. If you feed him a bite at +9 then test him 3 hours later, it's the same thing - it tells us if his pancreas is stimulated when he's eating and his blood sugar is getting into normal numbers.
If you're around tonight, when you get his pmbg, test him, feed him, then retest 3ish hours later to see if the +3-4 test is lower.
