Hi Everyone!
It's been a while. I've been lurking around but not doing much posting.
I have an issue with Clyde. He is coming up on one in remission at the end of this month, and I fear he may be starting to fall out of it. This evening I did a spot check on Clyde's insulin levels because the last couple of days I noticed some food left in the dish at the next meal.
I tested Clyde three times. The first time was 201, the second was 180 and the third was 183. This is higher then he's been at any time during the past year. Since there was food in the dish, I don't know exactly when he last ate.
The strips I have expire next month. I don't know how much they affect the readings. I did test myself and it said I was in the normal range. I still have a vial of Lantus which is probably over a year old by now but it's been kept in refrigeration and looks crystal clear with no floaters.
My vet's office is closed until Monday.
Any suggestions/recommendations on what I should do at this point?
Will
