Hi everyone,
Just got back from another weekend in Denmark. The cat sitter was unable to give insulin all weekend due to Charlie's resistance. Being the scared kitty that she is, she wouldn't even go near the cat sitter. In addition to that, Charlie threw up today when the cat sitter arrived this morning, and when we got back from our trip late this afternoon, we found vomit in our bed as well. Thank you, Charlie.
She is doing a bit better now. She ate most of her dinner and she is relaxing on the couch with us, but she really looks worn out. Stress can do that to a kitty.
My question for the experts today:
Charlie's PMPS was 299 tonight. Isn't this quite low considering she hasn't had ANY insulin since Friday morning? What does this mean?
Charlie's SS is up to date. We gave .75 units tonight.
