Happy Friday - never made it in here yesterday and I'm being punished for it with this 125. Been trying to get caught up as my schedule allows.
Actually, I can't figure this 125 out except where I read that a late shot is like a decrease and I was late with Shadow's insulin last night - would that be enough to do this? The last time she had blues, I was shooting late in an effort to move her schedule to accomodate that dinner party thing last weekend. Got some blues then. Hit me upside the head with a brick, why don'tcha?
"lantus likes consistency".
The other factor in this, a new food. couldn't find it on Binky's list. Friskie's Classic Pate Turkey and Giblets. There is another Friskie's Classic on that list that clocks in at 7%. I've been trying to increase the boy civvies' calorie intake, they are just so skinny on this low carb diet. It's been a challenge since this started to get them enough to eat without resorting to dry food and all 4 of them have gone thru kitty crack rehab so we aren't even considering dry food. I've asked about this over on health, Larry gave me this, http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Resource/Img ... 062148.jpg, so at least I know what to watch for. But i've been looking for some higher carb food for Romeo and Pablo. I left the Friskie's down overnight, maybe that's it.
Anyway, Shadow is wearing Spot's purry pants, they are a bit snug on her and she can't get 'em zipped but she's happy and napping in the sun. 3/5 P's. Maybe it's because it is getting colder, less humid but that dandruff is making a reappearance. SHadow doesn't know it yet but there is some tuna in oil in her future for the weekend. She will really enjoy that.
weekend research: Cosequin. Lately when brushing shadow, she has protested about me brushing her coat near her hips and I'm able to feel some fullness, R > L hip. She's quite elderly, so it is likely a little "arthur." We are in Texas, that's what a lot of our patients call it, a touch of the "arthuritis."
Have a good day, my friends. catch y'all on the flip side.
