J.D.'s Birthday Condo

Last Night:
Google is not cooperating and I have no time to wait for it. He went to 223 at +7.

He did not want to walk outside this morning, but I didn't wait for him that much either. He walks around the house, and I think he needs to poo, so I thought he would want to go outside. He did poo in the middle of the night and then came and woke me up laying on the couch. And we got some purring action going. I think it's his version of the happy poo dance.

Anyway, late as always.

Have a good day!

Re: 11/05 J.D. PMPS HI - possible.. double shot, but I doubt

When I gave (tried to give) J.D. his shot, it felt like I was hitting something hard, and I tried again in another spot and then another and kept feeling resistance. After the third try I looked at the needle and it was in a U shape, so that is why, although I do not know what I hit to make it that shape. I did not push the plunger. But, when I took the syringe to my computer to start a new syringe, I did push the plunger and only a drop came out. Now, basically (if you go by the markings on the syringe) he is on only 1/2 unit, but that seemed small. I made a new syringe and pressed the plunger and more than a drop came out. Once I got the new syringe ready, I smelled J.D.'s side first and did not smell insulin. I think the needle bent on the first try and I told J.D. he is like steel.

I tried to insert the disc that I got from the ER vet visit last Thursday and it goes in the computer, but I don't know how to access it or look at it. Does anyone with more personal computer experience know how to view what's sitting in the CD drive?

I tested J.D. again at +1 and he was still HI. I will watch him extra closely tonight.

Re: 11/05 J.D. PMPS HI - possible.. double shot, but I doubt

Paws crossed it wasn't a double shot tonight. :YMHUG:

Are you using a Mac or a PC with the CD?

Re: 11/05 J.D. PMPS HI - possible.. double shot, but I doubt

A PC.

I thought a window would pop up when I insert it to show me what was on it, but nothing popped up. I don't know where to find the E drive or D drive or whatever it's called.

Do you have either an icon with file folders in it, or one that says "Windows Explore" or "Explore my Documents?"

You want to click on that, and then you should be able to see a list of everything that's attached to or on your computer. See if you can find that, then under "computer" it should show your drives and printer.

I use a Mac, so I'm a little rusty with PC's. Some CD's have an application on them called Autorun which will start up when inserted into the CD drive, but not all do. If you can start the Window's Explorer application, the CD drive should appear on the left hand column then you can click on that to see what is on the drive.

Hi Dyana,

I'm not a tech expert, but if you still need to find out what's on your D and E drives, one way is to click on the icon (usually it's on your desktop) "My Computer." It will have a screen that shows you the different components of your computer, including the different drives.

Click on a Drive and it should show you a list of the files/programs on that drive. Click on the file/program you want to look at or run, and it should start. Paws and fingers crossed.

Good luck!

Georgette
