Hey everyone,
Comet had a few reductions in the last 2 weeks, but also some of those reductions he was only on for a day or so. I noticed when he was on .75u he was in the Green pretty much all day. Hit below 90 so we reduced. He stayed on .50u for a few days but hit 50 one night so we reduced to .25u
He did ok most of the last 5 days, but I feel like he is staying very flat in the High 90’s low 100’s.
We were thinking about upping him again to .50u
Thoughts? We want to see him mostly in the Green right?

We were planning on Sunday upping him so I believe that would be about a week then. I think I would switch to TR when I’m off next month. It would be much easier then. Just want to make sure I do this slow enough that he could possibly go into remission and hopefully stay there if that makes sense?
 
You are testing enough for TR right now. It has a better track record for going otj. Going slower does not give a better chance of remission. The reason why is like you are seeing the quick reductions and having to wait to increase. With TR, if a reduction fails you can go right back up to the previous dose.Today is only day 4 on .25 so with SLGS you need to hold this dose for 3 more days. Once you reduce you have to stay with the dose for 7 days and then decide whether an increase is needed. Make sense?

That makes sense! I think SLGS only makes feel comfortable because of me leaving him for 6 hours to go to work and not having much time to check at night. So I don’t know how to get over that fear. I may just up him tomorrow to .5u and then see where he is at on Monday
