Yesterday at Tricia's House of Chaos
Not quite as late tonight, but then, I haven't finished and posted this yet!
I didn't get an "out the door" test today because everything went wrong this morning and I was running late. I was supposed to drop off Cinco, then go in to Sacramento to have lunch with Mark and our financial adviser. Of course the herd had other plans. Sasha wasn't thrilled about eating - in fact, she didn't want anything to do with me and I had to hunt her down. Minka would not eat - not even baby food. Harvey did not want to be caught for his pills. When I tried to give Minka her squids, I had THREE bad sticks!!! Finally, the fourth time, we had a slow flow, but I was NOT going to stick her again. I finally got her to eat something and was able to give her the meds. Harvey got sacked and pilled and Sasha was located and dragged out from under the bed for her meds. Grabbed Cinco and ran, then remembered I needed to get gas!
Got Cinco to UCD by noon, but missed the lunch part of the meeting.
Cinco finally hit blue tonight. I was a little disgusted by all that yellow, and don't even talk to me about the AMPS!

So, anyway, I hit a bunch of pet food stores and collected some low fat, low phos foods to try with Minka. The one I finally got her to eat was one we'd had before and everyone had gotten burned out on. She ate an entire can today, and is currently working on the second can (3 oz).

Sasha only ate half her breakfast, but she ate all her dinner. The big news for her is that her dentist called me this evening to tell me the biopsies showed NO CANCER!!!
Her recheck is Oct. 19, and we'll decide then if any teeth need to be pulled to prevent a recurrence of the inflammation.
Harvey has his hoover on today. High speed all the way.
Cinco's blood work showed that his red cell count is still messed up. They are going to stick to the Etomidate for the rest of his radiation. His last treatment is Monday. They will check his blood again then to see if it's back to normal.
I had to put Cinco's e-collar back on him tonight because he was licking both his front legs to the point of raw skin. They had put his catheter in his back left leg. He as trying to get the bandage off of it, which he hadn't done before. So, back to the collar until the front legs heal.
Tomorrow is going to be a cleaning blitz, in between trips to UCD. Wish me luck!
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans, especially Marilyn & Polly, Deborah & Shasta, Carla & her civvie Baby, Wendy & civvie Theo, and Marje & Gracie.
Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF and DH, Marje's DM, Chris' DM, Molly's DM, and Elise's DM.
