I would say the yellows are getting a little boring, but we must be careful what we wish for!!

But this I do wish, a kitty day for all, plenty of purrs, play, sunny spots and lots of love.

Lisa, take a look at Boo's chart when we started on Lantus....we were Yellow Kings....for at least a month. Because we were so consistently flat and because I tested mid-cycle and knew were were flat...., scheduling permitted....I would take that increase every 6 cycles like clockwork.

If all remains flat again today, I would bump to 2.0 tonight.

By the way...all of those mid cycles shots make it soooooo easy to see he's truly flat - I'm so glad you are getting them with Lantus :thumbup :thumbup

cycle 5 on this dose - if you don't get any action after cycle 6, time for an increase.

This morning was cycle 6, so she's due tonight. But I was thinking about waiting till tomorrow AM for the increase so we can watch her more easily (without losing sleep!). Maybe I should wait to see her PMPS before deciding. What do you think?

I think 1 extra cycle would be OK if you are concerned, however, In general, you don't see too much action the 1st cycle if an increase (shed remodeling takes place)... :mrgreen:
there is still a ways to go until PMPS -- things could change :razz:
 
I just notice what look like small, pinhead sized, bubbles in the pen we've been using since 9/28. They look like bubbles, but don't move. More like spots on the plastic of the pen itself. I've been really careful with it, haven't dropped or shaken it. Should I have concerns about using it? The other pens don't have this.
 
First..yay that she came down!!!! I'd be sorely tempted to see where she went this cycle before going up and that's only because I've been guilty of increasing on that sixth cycle and BOOOM the bounce REALLY cleared! :lol: :lol:

Tiny bubbles are ok...floatie things are not. Sometimes if you inadvertently put too much pressure with the syringe (when you are drawing the dose) on the rubber stopper on the end of the pen, it will put little bubbles into pen. But I'm not sure about little black spots that cling to the pen...

If you're concerned about the spots in the pen, you could return it for a replacement. But if Weezer's numbers seem OK, the pen is probably OK too. Keep an eye out.

Good luck with the increase. As Sandy said, it will take a bit for the new dose to settle in because the shed has to adjust to the new dose.
