10/7 Dose question

I think we have figured out Bosco's magic number!!! I am optimistically hopeful. Yesterday, you could see he felt good because he jumped up on the couch to be with us. He has not done that in a long time!! Thankfully, we are on fall break this week. So my daughter has been taking his numbers every two hours!
I am so thankful for this group and how helpful you have been, and I'm sure you will continue to be.

**Add on - I do have a question. he's been in at leasat the mid or higher 200s when I gave him the 1.75 lantus. If he isn't in the mid 200's at 7p do I lower the dose or stay at 1.75?

Not qualified to advise you, but try putting the blue question mark prefix to make it easier for someone to spot your question when scanning the forum (next to where you put the thread title there's a drop down menu with the question mark option). Good luck!

When following SLGS for dosing, which is what it says on the spreadsheet, you reduce if he goes below 90. He hasn't done that yet, though close! Stay with this dose for the moment.

You've shot low 200's before. He doesn't need to be mid 200's to shoot full dose. With experience and data, you can gradually shoot lower and lower preshots.
