10/6 Bear Man Update

We try so hard for our sugarkits , it seems unending. There is only one thing worse and that is the end. It is THE hardest this we must do for them. You are the best mom to be willing to give him this last act of love. When he is ready, you will know and we will all be here to share your grief.

Tears are flowing here. I fully understand your decision. Bear man and you have fought a good fight for almost as long as I have been on with FDMB it seems.
He has had many an adventure with Teddy and you have shown absolute dedication to helping him with his ailments.
Only you can know when Bear is telling you he wants to go and play by the raibow and swap kitty stories.

I know Luky will be one kitty there to welcome him.

(((Linda))) - so sorry that this is happening, but fully support your decision. I believe that you know what is best for your boy. I was having serious problems with the idea of force feeding Kasha - but she was in such good health otherwise, I felt I had to. But then it came down to a point where I couldn't justify doing that anymore - then I sat down and had a talk with her. Soon after, she started eating on her own, but if she hadn't, I'd be right where you are now...

You are a good mom, you know that... It's so hard, but they somehow let us know when it's time...

Linda, I'm just stopping in to say hi to you and Bear Man and give you both some really hug hugs and lots of love and smoochies! (((((Linda & Bear Man)))))
 
(((Linda))) My heart is with you and Bear Man. You have fought so hard for Bear Man. You've always amazed me with how great you are with him and all you do. I hope Bear Man makes one more try and begins eating again. I know you'll be able to tell when he's ready though, because you are so close and love him so much.
 
(((Bear Man and Linda))) - I've been in your shoes recently. It isn't easy watching this decline. Please have serenity to know that you have gone the distance with Bear Man - you have given him the best of lives. It sucks - sucks big time - that we can't do more for our furbabies - that we can't fix them every time. Look at the quality of life - you will know when it is time. You will be able to help him make the crossing when it is time. I hope for a miracle - an extension. If not, then I hope for a smooth loving crossing with Bear Man being carried on the love of all of us here and mostly your love. Yes, it sucks big time - but we do it cause we love them.

Linda.. my heart just aches for you as I read your update on your beloved BearMan..
This is never easy as we help our furries to be comforted. He is sooo loved!

Just wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you..
 
Linda, I'm so terribly sorry to hear of this news. I, unfortunately, think that Bear Man is right. On the other hand, I pray that things do turn around for him, and he'll eat again. I guess that's the selfish part of me wishing that for you.

I know you'll do what's right for him. You're a very wonderful mamabean. :YMHUG:
