Life seems to be working itself out in CurryLand.

Curry is doing well. She seems to be liking this new dose.... :mrgreen:

Sid is still not eating except w/the assisted feeding. Will call the vet today. I'm 99% sure it's anxiety related. She seems to be wanting more of my attention now. I did try the rotisserie chicken last night....I enjoyed it...Sid not so much. She will come at meal time and act like she wants to eat...so that's a good sign....She just won't eat....not even the tuna.

Have you tried FortiFlora sprinkled on top?

That's a great AMPS for Curry this morning!

I haven't been around much so I haven't stopped in on your condo recently, but I'm glad your move is over, and I hope Sidney starts eating for you!

Gosh, you certainly got your hands full, don't you? Curry is doing well! Liking those nice green numbers and all :smile: I hope Sid's vet visit goes well and your babies start to relax into their new surroundings.

Nice numbers for Curry! Glad she's doing well! Good luck with the vet and Sid today...I hope she starts eating on her own soon!

Very pretty cycle for Curry today!

Maybe Curry needs to discuss a more zen, cat-like perspective with Sid. I hope the vet has some suggestions (or an appy stimulant) for Sid. Just as an fyi, mirtazepine which is used as an appetite stimulant/anti-nausea med for cats, has anti-anxiety properties, at least in humans.

Yeah..you were spot on w/maintaining the .3 units.....I didn't think she would hold the good low greens for me at that amount.

Zen approach....OMMMM, OMMMM. That's funny Sienne. I do have a meditation timer w/bells. :mrgreen:

Have an appointment w/the Vet today at 10:30...I thought they wld want to see her since she hasn't been in since last Jan.

I didn't realize the mirazepine had the anti-anxiety properties too...that would really help Sid out....

Curry is doing marvelous!
Hope the vet can help Sid. Will be sending good vet vibes and healing vines. Let us know what your vet tells you.

nice start today for Curry. I think you could be right - that some of the issues are anxiety related: new place and all. I hope it improves and the vet has some suggestions for you.

Sorry to hear Sid still isn't eating. Hope the vet visit goes well - tell her she's going because she refuses to eat, maybe that will motivate her! Curry, on the other hand, is looking fabulous!

Sidney update.....

Good news..The mirazepine that was given to Sid at the Vet worked....dang.....she was rubbing her carrier affectionately by the time we got home....didn't run or bolt as soon as the cage was opened...turned down the EVO dry, but ATE the tuna...2 big helpings....I remembered what Anne said regarding Muffin over doing it with the chicken...so I limited the amt she ate at that sitting... will give some more this afternoon when I give Curry her snack.

Vet did bloodwork (due anyway in Dec) will get results tomorrow...Everything looks good on Sid..she offered a ton of suggestions that you all had already offered....

Gave fluids in case she wasn't drinking enough and shot the B12 in Sid's liitle camel hump made by the fluids.....

I didn't think the mirazepine would act that quickly....WOW.....that's good stuff....she said the effects would last about 3 days.

:dizcat flip_cat flip_cat It must be good stuff! :dizcat So glad that Sidney is eating again, but the time it's worn off thing should be in a nice routine. Paws crossed.

I relieved about the fluids, I just knew she had to be dry. I hope she can settle into her routine now and feel like she's home by the time her shot wears off. Good report!

Curry too, didn't want to give you anything else to worry about today, she looks very good.

Glad to hear the good news about Sid. Hopefully that'll be enough to get her back to eating. Curry's got a beautiful surf going!

WE are so happy about Sid!! Good to know that these meds really do help!

A bit higher for Curry.

No hissing from the two of them so far this evening. Sid is loving the tuna.....Will need to give her more attention this evening...Most of my attention goes to Curry....need to modifiy that. She also seems less anxious...Curry is picking up on that behavior change and isn't hissing at her.

Good news for Sydney! Hoping for better eating very very soon!
