found annie this morning lying in the bottom of a huge planter in the shed...got her to the vet...only thing so far that seems unlikely is poisoning. She is in dire straits at the moment, but maybe knowing she has a support team will help her little fighting spirit beat the odds. won't know more until late afternoon or evening..

binks is well...feeling ignored tho.

Annie- it's crazy, surprising, and cautiously good news. so far, none of the tests showing anything...squids early on...every test run we thought would tell anything... she is underweight, barely 7 lbs. she let me feed her some gruel but was so stressed and withdrawn at clinic that we felt she was better off here...so she's here with biomox liquid and laxatone...has almost completely lost her voice, but purr is intact....has had a 2nd meal of gruel that she ate with no help, and is currently purring and lying on my lap. i have squids and all the equipment but she already looks like a totally different cat than this am...learned about squids with my last manx so if needed, can do... seems everyone's vibes may have enhanced the indomitable tortie spirit, and i thank you for all the good thoughts.

sounds like a a tough day in LL, so i'm heading to see condos..

somehow updated the wrong post...
no...hadn't checked in that pot...can't even figure out how she managed to get in it...but with no voice...she couldn't say "help...i've fallen and i can't get up"...

this is going to be interesting...annie is firmly ensconced on a pillow on my bed...binks is silently boycotting the bedroom. he did give her some tentative lovies for about 10 seconds tho...before he has attacked her once and chased her and smudge around the yard very joyfully the 2 or 3 times he got out. maybe a new twist in their relationship...

this bean is tottering off to bed...i don't know how those of you who are caring for more than one special needs furbaby do it...but my hat is off to you...
