Tinkles slept through his mm at +3 last night, ate it at +4, and didn't eat his +6 snack. I happened to wake up for the +8 snack, or he would have missed that one too!

WCR: Tinkles waited patiently for his breffis this morning, visited the LB and must have found Spot's zippy pants in there....he came racing out, jumped up on the window sill and up on the small entertainment center! He's never been up there before in his life! I guess the Methyl B12 is working. He's feeling good, all P's in place.

Sorry I wasn't around much yesterday, I had to get the TV hooked up to the computer so DH could watch the World Series games online. Thank you Fox and Cablevision! grr_red

So glad to hear mr tinkles is enjoying life and finding new spots to hang out at! This blue amps is a great way to start the day, hopefully he'll surf the blues and greens for you ... have a great day guys!

I opened a new pen tonight, and reduced the dose back to a S1.25u for safety. We'll see if that brings his numbers back down.

That was one heckuva food spike this morning! I hope Mr. Tinkles keeps surfing blue.

I've not found that numbers change that dramatically with new Lantus unless the insulin is really toasty. The other consideration is that given you have a full shed, the effect of shaving the dose won't, in all likelihood effect this cycle.

You're probably right about the shed, Sienne. The last time I opened a new pen, he took a big dive, so I thought it prudent to shave the dose. I haven't done that in the past....probably won't make any difference! :mrgreen:
