Yes, please increase the dose. With the amount of testing you are doing, you can follow TR and that will help you increase his dose faster (every 3-5 days).

Do you have a new vial/pen of Lantus? Are you still using the old one?

I'm still using the old one and we have a new Lantus. My dad is working from home that why he is testing more often.

You could try using the new Lantus and see if the problem is with the insulin. Don't throw the old one away. If numbers don't improve with the new Lantus, you know it is not the insulin and you can go back and finish the old one.

It's great that your dad can test more often. Except in cycles where he sees blues or greens, just one more test in addition to the PS is good enough!

I think you should know in 3-4 days if insulin is the problem.
