Sorry for the late condo (again) Tiger seemed to be having repeated visits to the LB and straining this morning, not a good sign! ohmygod_smile At one point, she was straining and while a small amount of urine came out, so did a tiny speck of fecal gel like matter ohmygod_smile  Good grief, she has no privacy, I know!! That warranted a visit to the vet, luckily, they fitted us in at 10:40. However, my poor baby was unable to give a sample and had to stay at the vet for 4 hours. :? The culture has been sent to the lab, I should know something in a few days. The vet didn't see anything in the urine, but said UTI is a possibility. Also discussed the possibility of colitis ohmygod_smile , she wants me to watch for any further straining and gel like matter. I know for a fact, I have never seen that before, not in any of my kitties. There has been minimal coughing up of furballs in the past 3 months, she has been in pretty good shape until this!
Tiger is resting comfortably tonight, I think she is glad to be home. Numbers not great, but considering her day, not that bad. Probably looking at a dose increase tomorrow, if not improvement by tomorrow.
If anyone has experience with feline colitis, I am very interested to learn what the symptoms were.
Sending healing vines to all kitties in need and their humans!
