Good Saturday, Everyone,
Rusty slept so incredibly soundly last night that I woke up worried at 5 a.m., tested him, and got 86. So we all went back to sleep. Rusty was surprised to get a test in the "middle of the night"! This morning at AMPS he seems to have bounced a bit (he may have gone lower than the 45 at bedtime), but his AMPS number may reflect his finishing up of his nighttime food. It's a dark, gray morning here and we are waiting to see what will happen with the hurricane. Rusty is in his little bed by the radiator. I took a nap, too, as did Edward (who takes one every morning). We will see how the Russ Man does today.
We are about to head down to the farmers' market. This is the last Saturday that it will be outdoors. Next week it will move indoors to the town hall. This is great, because in the past the market ended at the end of October. It will go until Christmas this year (provided, of course, that the farmers still have produce).
Wishing you all a good Saturday. Stay safe from the storms. Continuing to send healing vines to Max, Leo, and all kitties and beans in need.
