Good Saturday, Everyone,

Rusty slept so incredibly soundly last night that I woke up worried at 5 a.m., tested him, and got 86. So we all went back to sleep. Rusty was surprised to get a test in the "middle of the night"! This morning at AMPS he seems to have bounced a bit (he may have gone lower than the 45 at bedtime), but his AMPS number may reflect his finishing up of his nighttime food. It's a dark, gray morning here and we are waiting to see what will happen with the hurricane. Rusty is in his little bed by the radiator. I took a nap, too, as did Edward (who takes one every morning). We will see how the Russ Man does today.

We are about to head down to the farmers' market. This is the last Saturday that it will be outdoors. Next week it will move indoors to the town hall. This is great, because in the past the market ended at the end of October. It will go until Christmas this year (provided, of course, that the farmers still have produce).

Wishing you all a good Saturday. Stay safe from the storms. Continuing to send healing vines to Max, Leo, and all kitties and beans in need.

Oh my Ella, what lovely numbers for Rusty, last night and into this morning :-D

It's cold and dreary here too. I think I'll forego my library trip today. If we had a Farmer's Market going on, I could force myself to do that. Enjoy.

Did you feel that earthquake, near Olcott, Thursday night? I think it was heard, more than felt. I was unaware of it, though.

Good morning Ella. It looks like Rusty is responding to his insulin pretty well. I hope the hurricane doesn't hit you too hard. It feels strange for us to be sitting on the Gulf Coast and watching a hurricane threatening the New York area. Stay safe and I hope Rusty stays in the GREEN for you. Have a great day.

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

Nice on that +11! GREEN!  Off to a god start this AM Rusty, back to the lagoon for you, 'K? The lagoon needs its master.

Enjoy the farmers Market! It is so very nice that it will continue indoors. How fun!

Hope all will be well with your guys, and Sandy. A concern I am sure. Stay safe.

Enjoy your day today. Stay warm! it is dreary here too - and windy. more rains due for us, later in the day.

Hi Ella, nice numbers for Rusty. I bet, too, the AMPS is part overnight fooding. I hope the storm misses you all. Enjoy the Farmer's Market and have a good Saturday.

Nice to see the Lagoon Master again! Tess has headed back looking for you Rusty! No telling what the kitters will get up to without your supervision, time to head on back!

Nice weather for napping, I hope you got all the outdoor chores done and that the storm turns back out to sea.

Re: 10/27 Rusty AMPS 145, +5.5 81, +10 76, PMPS 86

Hi again,

Rusty has been surfing in nice greens all day. He enjoyed outdoor time while I was painting and Edward was doing some yard work. His appetite hasn't been as good today. I opened a new case of Wellness Chicken and although he has been eating the other foods, he is more or less ignoring the chicken. Perhaps it's a bad lot. In any event, he gobbled up the FF T&G and ate the Wellness Turkey just fine. That's what he's going to get for the rest of his meals today.

It turned out to be quite a nice day, so after we got back from the farmers' market and had lunch, I tackled the garage door. Finished painting it and then headed out to the grocery store. Got back home and the paint was still wet. Then we noticed that it was oil-based paint!! (It was left over from the former owners of our house and the label was obscured by paint that had run down the side of the can. So we propped the door open and are hoping that the rain will hold off!

The latest on the storm report is that it may be windy in our area, but the brunt of the storm will head elsewhere, mostly along the coast. Friends who have a camp up here and were planning to spend the weekend, have decided to stay in New Jersey to be there in case of emergencies.

Off to visit some condos. We hope that you all are having a good weekend.

Ella & Rusty

Rusty isn't scared of no stinkin' storm! He must be looking forward to the great surfing! Glad to see the storm track isn't coming right toward you.
