10/27 Deb's Spot amps 137

A tad higher than I wanted today, but I have come to the conclusion that what I want and what is are two totally different things :smile: I am not going to complain about it though, because it's not such a bad number and I know that he will come down to a nice shade of green at some point today.

WCR: Mr. Zippy pants was in da house again this morning. I honestly believe that the cooler weather brings out that side of the ol boy. He doesn't zip much during the summer months, even with the ac turned on. He woke me up for his +7 snack...no test...and then around 5ish (+11) came up to the bed and slept on my tummy until the alarm went off at 5:30 am. No p's in place before I left for work...no purr for test, no poo, no pee, no preening, and no playing (he doesn't usually play anyway, lol). However, after the zippy pants were put to use, he decided to lay in the middle of the LR floor, something he never does...he usually lays on a chair or along the wall, by the computer. He was being goofy this morning!

Today is another one of those days...at work, have to play catch up since I was off yesterday, so I can only spend limited time on board. Hope all kitties and beans have a good day...will check in later!!

Ok, ok, Have you laughs, I deserve it. Now you know, I do realize that 137 is not very high...but cha gotta remember that Spot was otj there for a while and I got spoiled...kay.. :smile:

oh, deb...i just read your profile for the first time...2nd time today i have been reduced to tears.

binks has a hidden side...he spent time up until his dx being a companion cat...we discovered that this shy, retiring, agreeable boy has a deep compassion for those who are not regular, boring beans. my best friend brought her downes syndrome brother to visit...and while the rest of my furbabies were somewhat intimidated...binks (who is not a social boy regularly) climbed up on this fellows lap, and did his signature lovies... arms about the neck, head laid against the neck, and deep, loving purrs. since that time, he has visited alzheimers wards, cancer patients, and hospice patients. he can't wait to get better so he can start again...hopefully at the nursing home where sis is...

what a beautiful thing spot did for leo...and i am in awe of your boy!
