Sun's out, that's good. Hoping everyone in LL in good stead and surfing along with lots of woo hoo's along the way.
Sootie's bg yesterday a roller coaster. And amazingly, I did a near 4am bg (Sootie sure was surprised). Saw that she hadn't eaten any more supper but I'd brought up a fresh dish just in case. Her inappetant 4am (+19 I think) was 149. But a few hours later, and after snacking on slurry at +19, her ambg was 109. and during the more routine morning time frame. Sootie was pretty happy about that.
Civvie Azalea's eye recheck this morning was a mixed bag but mostly good: her claw injured eye is beginning to heal and looks like it will not have to be removed. Vet doesn't think she'll regain sight in that eye. But ya never know. And I'm happy that she's not going to lose her eye. Whew and thank you all for your prayers and vines! Crossing paws that healing continues!

Bo continues to amaze. This morning I saw signs that his brain is talking to his hind quarters. Hind legs not working but he'd shifted himself from one bedding to the one next to by sliding first with his upper body and then with his lower body. Maybe a glimmer of progress in the eyes of a vet. This effort on Bo's part, the sign that his brain and body have begun to communicate again is amazing. Temporary or not, it's a blessing.
Our vet still urges pts. I deferred follow up discussion with him til tomorrow.
Thank you all for your prayers and vines and candles for Bo. We sure need them for him and everyone here !
