Sun's out, that's good. Hoping everyone in LL in good stead and surfing along with lots of woo hoo's along the way.

Sootie's bg yesterday a roller coaster. And amazingly, I did a near 4am bg (Sootie sure was surprised). Saw that she hadn't eaten any more supper but I'd brought up a fresh dish just in case. Her inappetant 4am (+19 I think) was 149. But a few hours later, and after snacking on slurry at +19, her ambg was 109. and during the more routine morning time frame. Sootie was pretty happy about that.

Civvie Azalea's eye recheck this morning was a mixed bag but mostly good: her claw injured eye is beginning to heal and looks like it will not have to be removed. Vet doesn't think she'll regain sight in that eye. But ya never know. And I'm happy that she's not going to lose her eye. Whew and thank you all for your prayers and vines! Crossing paws that healing continues!❤️❤️❤️

Bo continues to amaze. This morning I saw signs that his brain is talking to his hind quarters. Hind legs not working but he'd shifted himself from one bedding to the one next to by sliding first with his upper body and then with his lower body. Maybe a glimmer of progress in the eyes of a vet. This effort on Bo's part, the sign that his brain and body have begun to communicate again is amazing. Temporary or not, it's a blessing.
Our vet still urges pts. I deferred follow up discussion with him til tomorrow.
Thank you all for your prayers and vines and candles for Bo. We sure need them for him and everyone here ! ❤️❤️❤️

Good news on Azalea's eye. Nice that Sootie brought her numbers down after eating some. That is amazing for Bo. Sending more prayers. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you Carla. Yes amazing the hope little glimmers and the healing community can bring! Crossing paws and:bighug: :bighug:to you and Furball.

Sootie looks good this morning. I hope that continues through the day. You sure have enough on your plate.

Big hurrah for the good news on Azalea's eye! Cats can do very well with vision in just one eye (see Bubba), but aesthetically it's nice if they can keep the eyeball.

I'm glad to hear that Bo is rallying somewhat. I'm going to put that down to the awesome care and all the love he's receiving. I know you will do what is in his best interests and I pray you have some more quality time with him before he lets you know he's ready to head for the Bridge. A fighting spirit can overcome a lot!

Sending vines for all your babies, and :bighug: for a very good, albeit tired, Mama!

Sootie started out great in green but pm ca 7pm was 155. seems a day for iffy appy. She didn't eat much if anything during the day. Got more of the remedy that maybe has been an aid in abdominal pain, so see if we'll get back on fud track...she guzzled it along with her other remedy tonight .I'll try to recheck her bg in awhile. Right now horizontal is my necessary mode for awhile!!!

Well lo and behold...Sootie returned to the bathtub scenario. Is eating heartily with fud dish at the head and faucet sprinkling like a babbling brook at the foot of the tub. Life of improvisations here continues on....

DH decided was time for him to spend a lot more time with azalea in her room. I've become the dreaded harbinger of squirty eye drops and squirty oral drops to her. But with DH she's eating more tonight, taking breaks to chin butt his beard, one of her all time favorite pastimes.

Bo ate all his supper (in the dish holding assistant) , we both sharing forehead rubs in between. :) Our stately and gentle old lion, no matter what the adversity.❤️❤️

Wishing all a gentle night and sweet soft dreams, and thanks always for all :bighug::bighug::bighug:
