I can't seem to find time to get here more than once a month lately. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ (Last post: 9/25 Jack: 159@amps, 152@+3)

Jack has been doing ok with his 4u in the AM and 3u in the PM dose, but we have been seeing a bounce or two, like today. We do get to green and sometimes down to the 60's so I am reluctant to change anything for him. Paws crossed we start seeing a bit more dark green and less yellow, but like I said last time, compared to where we were 3 years ago, I'm not going to complain.

Otis is still struggling with his foot condition, and we are planning on changing his antibiotics and steroids in early November. This will be very stressful as doxycycline is not great for cats, but the convenia just isn't cutting it. He does have a great attitude though, still moves through the house, plays a bit, purrs, and interacts, so that's good.

Abby is still not getting the transdermal methimazole consistently due to her personality and even though her T4 went down from 4.9 to 4.6, I know she is not right. I may just have to get the radiation for her, and spend a week in a straightjacket from nerves. The next blood test will make that decision. Her heart rate is still too high, and the water intake/urine output is also high. Thank goodness no FD though, I do test her with Jack's meter from time to time---which she also hates :(

I know I missed people's posts, I apologize if I didn't get to your page. I do think about you all, and especially the kitties, and keep you all in my heart and prayers, even if I can't get on the board.

Jack, the herd, and I are wishing all the kitties safe surfing, all the humans peace, and happy fall holidays to all!

Hi Christine, so good to see you and your sweet kitties! Love seeing Jack owning tht pumpkin tablecloth πŸŽƒ

Glad he’s doing quite well πŸ’
I was just thinking about Abby and wondering how she was doing. Sorry to hear she’s being so difficult πŸ˜₯
But it’s good her T4 went down (right direction) πŸ™

I really hope the next test shows improvement for her.

(Ivy gets tested again in 2 weeks and I’m quite worried) although I can give the transdermal Methimazole ok.

Glad Otis seems to have a good attitude and life, despite what’s going on with his footβ€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή
Sending lots of vibes and prayers for all of them πŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

Please keep us posted when you can. Sending love and thinking of all of you πŸ’•πŸ«‚πŸ˜»

Hi Christine! Thanks for popping in with this update! It's good to hear how the babies are doing. My previous cat did the radiation; it wasn't a huge deal, but we did need to leave him at a clinic far away, as no one close to us did the procedure. He was beautiful (a Tonkinese) and had a fabulous personality, and they all fell in love with him during his stay, so it all worked out fine for him. Give everyone some head scritches and pets from Jude, Hazel, the triples, and I.

Hi Christine,
So nice to read your updates (even if it is just once a month). We miss you but you're obviously busy with all your kitties. Good luck with everything and in the meantime sending lots of healing vines
