Not as good results last night as night before. Harley did stay mid to high yellow which is a nice color also. Gave shot in the flank again but not sure if I was successful. I did not feel moisture on the fur but my vet said I should "feel/hear" a "pop" if I am get under the skin. It seemed to go too easy this AM. With the exception of church, I am home all day to monitor.

I never heard that before...about a "pop"..hmmmm...wonder if anyone else has experience with hearing a pop when they shoot there. The numbers will tell I guess. I just started shooting Shadow in his side and I goofed in the beginning....I think I did give one or two fur shots...
When you say "flank" what do you mean by that....back by his hips?
It looks to me that Harley is better able to use the insulin now. Good job Pattie! :thumbup

Yes, it is between the side and his back leg. Sienne sent me the best picture of injection sites. I will go back and look at where the website is and let you know. The vet is the one that talked about the "pop". I have never heard or felt one. I'll see where Harley is at +2.5.

Harley has been bouncing around today but stayed pretty much yellow. I think on the weekends I feed him too much. Every time he cries, here is mom with the food. Went to my neighbors 45 minutes before I shot just to keep from feeding.
