Well, I thought today was a good day until Trouble walked by the fridge and hissed at it. I think he is destressing now that the nieces have headed back home. He will slowly forgive me for allowing them into our house  It takes time though!

I have been wanting to get my kitties' teeth cleaned. My dilemma is this...if I get it done in the town I live it will cost about $450 for both of them...if I wait until Christmas when I go back to my hometown it will be about $200 for both of them. I sure hate to be cheap when it comes to my boys  They really need it done! Seems like waiting 2 months is too long! Any input?

We finally found a home for that kitten my DH found at his work. A father and son came to look at her. They said they would definitely spay her which made me feel good. Hopefully they follow through because animal control is so important. They have one cat who recently lost his buddy, a dog, and five snakes. At least the little girl we gave them won't be bored. We told them to bring her back if she didn't blend with the other kitty and it's been a couple days without hearing from them, so things must be going smoothly.

aww, great job rehoming the kitten. Sounds like she landed in a good spot.

about the dental, I guess it depends on how badly they need it. I'm not sure I would trust a dental that is $100, actually, I would be afraid it's one of those where they just kind of scrape at the teeth and call it a day. Have you had it done there before? I'm just paranoid, I'm sure (and jealous, if they do a good job for that price!).
