Good Morning LL ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS! I just love ~O) ), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! As a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are really good today too!

I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine was great. It felt odd though not to have the boys yesterday. After a month of the revised schedule I was kinda on auto -pilot, expecting to go and get them yesterday... SO, back to three days. Yesterday I took time to get the car serviced as it was way overdue... Today is booked too. Woo hoo, at least I am busy. I went to the mountains yesterday afternoon after the car was ready to go, on a whim. Our weather here is nothing but fog 24/7. Enough already! here is what I wrote in last night's post about yesterday: "Hi everyone - Hope you guys all had a great day. I got the car serviced today (oil change etc), and as I as sitting there watching the fog roll in yet again I thought how nice it would be to be someplace warm and sunny. How cool these days to have phones that will tell you things like weather, and driving conditions etc... Snoqualmie Pass was only 45 minutes from where I was. It was sunny there and reported to be in the 60's today. So... on a whim I headed up there, and visited an old standby with Gold Creek Pond. It was absolutely gorgeous there! I also walked and explored a creek that merges with that, Coal Creek. That was kinda fun: walked creeks shore line. Anyways - spent a few hours up at the pass today. Sure was nice. As I was headed home the temp board up there reported it was 69. wow on that! We barely cleared 50 here, and the fog still has not left us. crazy! Picassa link: Snoqulamie Pass: Coal Creek, Gold Creek Pond I took several photos too while en-route. the falls colors are still with us, and well there was that fog.....

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties have been good kitties today - even Lola. Fancy that! She has left the Halloween decoration alone - what a relief. There is renewed hope here that once we get to Christmas all will be well. hmmmm.... might be delusional thinking on my part. Bug has been very affectionate the past few days. Love it! Ive been getting lots of visits, purrs, lap cuddles, and scritch seeking. He really is such an affectionate kitty. Elsa I have discovered really is not a fog fan.... She wants to go out, gets out there and turns right around and comes back in. I swear I can hear grumbles... weather grumbles.... Elsa is also a fuds grazer. She never eats all her food when served, which in a way is a problem with Lola and bug - they will raid her bowl, eat what she leaves. So... we have resorted to hiding her bowl when she is done, offering it to her later on. The microwave has proven to be the best spot for that, as they can both open cupboards..... :? Lola has discovered that is where that bowl is. Yesterday she spent the longest time pounding on the door to the microwave. BAM BAM BAM BAM!!  I dread the moment when she discovers that if she pounds hard enough on the little square indentation near the side the door will open, Fuds for Lola!    Any bets on how long that will take? YUPP!

Have a great day everyone. I am off shortly to have breffis with my DS. it seems like forever since we have been able to do that... sure will be nice to be able to do this again. I have a haircut appt after that, and then a Seattle visit with my friend in the early afternoon. WooHOO! this beans "social calendar" has been activated.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

I hope your fog clears. That would get pretty annoying, especially with it fall color time there. Ours haven't started turning yet. Nice on breffis with DS and a trip to the city. You cracked me up with your social calendar. Just don't be late!

Too funny on Lola and Bug and the fuds. We had to put child locks on our cupboards when Tarragon was younger. Never had to for our human child. Only for our fur kid. Hopefully she doesn't figure out the micro, but I won't hold my breath. So sweet with Bug. Those boy kids are such cuddlers.

Have a great day Michelle!!

Hi Michelle,
I love the contrast between the fog pics and the mountain-pass pics! What a beautiful day to have been up on the pass. The pictures with the absolutely calm water and the reflections of the shorelines are stunning. Were you able to identify the "blob" fungi?

Enjoy your social Tuesday. Great that you can have breakfast with your son and coffee with your friend again. You need this change-of-pace.

Too funny about Lola and Elsa's food bowl. I hope she doesn't discover that button on the microwave! Rusty is a grazer, like Elsa, but he is lucky that no one is after his fuds!

Have a lovely day,

Ella & Rusty

Elsa, the Ethiopian espresso is mega good this morning. THANK YOU, Kitteh Barista!

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) I so agree ion that fog. We are so close to the sound that it is inevitable that when fall comes, esp in October, we will get fog. This is crazy though: it has not cleared in what is going on 4 days now...   Funny though - I can go maybe 40 miles east, and get good weather, sun and still see all that fall color. LOL on my social calendar!!   I VOW not to be late.... --- I so know on the locks on the cabinets. I never have had to do that with the kids, or the grandkids. but the cats? yes on them! sheshhhh! , me too on the microwave.... part of me thinks it is only a matter of time...

Wow, that sounds like a crazy amount of fog to deal with! We get hit with it every now and then but it usually clears up by mid morning .. Yay for the social calendar being activated! Hope you have a great day!

HI Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) THX - and me too on the contrast - it was so obvious. I made it just past Issaquah and the weather was a complete 180. So sunny and warm when I got up to the Pass. THX on the pics from up there - I love that loop hike - the views are always that good. It's a short easy hike, but ever so rewording. -- still a no on the "Blob fungi":. I will keep looking. THX on today too - it should be fun! Yes on the change of pace, it will be nice. LOL, and me too on the fuds bowl, and the microwave.  The never ending battle of the fuds hoovers and the fuds grazers.... ;-)
Auntie Ella - you are so welcomes! I will bring more, and come Cocoa in abit. I hear your weather is awful.... so sorry! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hi Devon ~O) ~O) ~O) Yupp on the fog - it is endless!  THX on today - it will be fun. I'm looking forward to it. :-D

ENJOY YOUR MORNING EVERYONE!!! I am off to meet my son. SWEET! ~O) ~O) ~O)

I agree with Elsa...not a fog fan either! It is pretty cool to look at, but when the conditions are right for fog, I actually get what I call a "barometric pressure headache" from it...very dull, almost migraine-like...makes me feel like crap.

I have no doubt that Lola will have that microwave figured out in no time. I can sooooooo relate to the relentless banging, since that is what Frankie does during the night to our bedroom door!

Have a great social day, Michelle...you've earned it!

LOVE to read normalcy in Musketeerville! And the morning treats keep getting better!

I am so far behind on condos after being away for a week and also behind on facebook photos.

I hope your social day was a fun one. I bet Lola does figure out how to open the microwave. Those pictures of the fall colors are gorgeous.

I want to see a video of Lola opening the microwave! That will be too funny and definitely worthy of going on Good Morning America!!!!!

Hey Lil Bit Pit,

I've been waiting all day for my tuna water! Did you forget my delivery today? You know how much I love tuna water that I love Tuna Tuesday and get very excited every week when it arrives.

So, please hurry and bring my tuna water! I'm thirsty and waiting.

Signed Maui the Magnificent

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We did ok here with our "social" day. :-D I had a rally great tie with my son at breakfast. it was nice to be able to get together. We have found a new place, called the Family Pancake House. It has good food, and reasonable prices, service is prompt, and good. Today their special was $.10 coffee. :-D  and a 5 stack of pancakes for $1.00. Even better!  I still miss our old place, and the family business atmosphere of it all, but this one seems to be a good replacement. :-D :-D :-D I managed to get haircut today too - WooHOO! that was sorely needed. Seattle was a good visit with my friend. It was nice to catch up! Funny, but ti was a hoot to catch the bus and ride into town. I took some photos of Breakfast, and will post them tomorrow.

Hi Amy - We still have our fog, and Elsa says no way on any outdoor adventure. can't say that I blame her! Bummer on your almost migraine when we have weather like this. I have a friend that is the same: very susceptible to any barometric changes. and I am so sure on Lola... no dummie there. She watches how I do some things, so no surprise of she figures this one out. ;-) oh yes - I figured a much n Frankie. one ash to love that sound. not. THX on today - it was fun.

Hi Anne - I so love normalcy here. For me that = fun, and one cray kitty! YUPP on those treats. :-D I hope you have some time to unwind after your arrival home... hard sometimes to catch up.

Hi Carla - THX, it was a great day out. I enjoyed it, as it has been a while since I could do any of those things. :-D I agree on that microwave... I wonder how long it will take her. THX on the pics. It was such a gorgeous day up there.

Hi Hillary - now that would be fun! A vid of her opening the microwave. I will have to work on this!
Maui! GF! WHAT?????? Your tuna water didn't make it???? oh oh.... did someone rip you off? I delivered. I swear..... I left it on your doorstep..... I will bring MORE, like ASAP!!! Maybe some uizza and brewskis too. See ya in a jiff! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT PIT

I wouldn't be surprised if Lola not only figures out how to open the microwave door, but also discovers she can warm up the food, too
The microwave is a safe spot for Ripley's food ~ she'll often watch Smokey eat her food, w/o any opposition   . We use the microwave more for safe-storage than as a microwave

Enjoy your evening , Michelle!

Hey Lil Bit Pit,

You can't leave anything on my doorstep! That is where Buster's meowme lives! BabyCat must have taken it. It's no wonder she wouldn't leave the porch and kept licking her lips! She drank all my tuna water! :o :o

Next time if you are in a hurry, ring the buzzer and I'll send the bean out to meet you and get my delivery!

Signed Maui the Magnificent

Hi Michelle,

Nice you are able to have your breakfast get togethers again. Hope you get a break from the fog - weather (and mother nature) is such an amazing subject. Wow on Lola trying to open the microwave! :o She is a determined, smart kitty. Cleo is also a grazer, but my other two tend to leave her food alone. Thank goodness~

Have a great night!

Jane

Hi Josie :-D Somehow that wold not surprise me either. She was back pounding on the door again tonight. One of these days... The microwave has proven to be the safest spot of Elsa food too. I just hope it continues to be that way. ;-)

MAUI! oh oh,..... ok, no more doorstep deliveries! I don't know what I was thinking! i is so sorry baby Cat drank all your tuna water. I bring some tomorrow too, and will ring the door bell. See ya! Elsa, Lil BIT PIT

Hi Jane :-D It was nice! Been close to a month, so I'm glad that we now can again. I do miss the boys too. Well, that's OK, I will see them tomorrow. THX too on the fog break - I so hope so. They say tomorrow will be foggy yet again. Maybe tomorrow it can clear out by noon. that would be cool. oh yeah on Lola: determiend for sure! Nice on Cleo. I wish the others here would leave Elsa's food alone, but no way... Bug is a hoover, and will eat it all.

Loved the mountain photos with all that blue sky. Maybe I should be going up higher or further away to get my blue sky fix. We got a bit today, but the foghorns are back at it tonight. I hope your weather does clear up at noon tomorrow like it's supposed to here.

Too funny on Lola and the microwave. It seems to be a common hiding place in LL. We put the people fuds in the microwave to be safe from Neko. Thank goodness she never learned how to open that door.

Morning Wendy ~O) Many thanks on the photos. it sure was pretty up there, and right now the mountains seem to be the place for us to go if we want any sun. crazy huh. It is still fogged in here. I am so clsoe to the water that we never really did clear yesterday. Seattle did, but not my house. more fog out there this morning too. I will laugh on the microwave - LL secret hiding spot! :-D
