Well, little girl, that increase was well deserved! Hard, though, for me since she's now .5 U more than before the CSU adventure. Yes, I know that's nothing to get all worried about, and worry won't do anything anyway. Just a hard number to draw into the syringe.
But Polly just doesn't seem "happy." No high-tail jaunts down the hallway for "snack time," more a slow almost aimless amble. She has no trouble jumping up on the bed, or bathroom vanity...or kitchen counter to eat Boomer's leftovers. But she's moving slowly with an odd gait, like a toddler wide-stanced in a bunched up diaper. And that darned tail never gets above horizontal.
Good appy, perhaps too good! Excellent box behavior. Comes for snuggles. Just something almost intangible that makes me think she's not even near 100%.
OK, enough whining! All in all, we will just keep muddling through. (and send an e-mail to her IM at CSU to see what she thinks.)
Break out the new pen tonight. Get ready Polly.
Thanks for listening. I know you all understand; this is indeed a frustrating dance at times. Guess I'd better get the drummer to pick up the pace and bring some optimistic beats my way. Odd, I'm not much of a grumbler, but these are the thoughts today. Sorry.
