Just not liking my numbers this morning at all when I was up in the night with the kittens (yes I am still handfeeding)sigh... they are stronger today (anti-jinx) and Mom has milk so I sure hope they will start nursing on their own soon. Do Lou is doing fine today all P's in place eye looks better so I do have something positive to say he seems to be drinking more this morning and urinating a bit more could be the higher numbers not sure he seems to be feeling good :lol: We started new insulin last night so I was wanting to see if it helped his numbers any before going up with a dosecrease but I do not like these high 200s

Come on down, Do Lou. Your been would like to see some blues today! Sending nursing vines to those kittens, Lisa. I hope you can get some sleep today.

I hope those kittens start nursing soon, you must be exhausted! Glad Do Lou's eye is improving. Please get those numbers down for your bean, DL!

still feeding every 2 ~O) ~O) hours but they seem stronger to me so hoping and praying that they will come around soon since Mom has plenty of milk just a matter of them nursing on their own one little boy was getting the hang of it this last feeding so I am trying not to think neg and think pos that things are going to improve soon

With DL I am going ahead with a .25 increase tonight

Wow Lisa. Bless your heart..every 2 hours. What a wonderful mommabean!!!!! You must be exhaused though.

Hope DL's numbers come down soon for ya.

Yes Tena hand feeding young ones is very tiring they are stronger tonight but I am still not sure whether they are nursing much they are trying ;-) will still be feeding thru the night I have had to supplement before but never the entire litter anyway its going to be another long night but I am starting to feel more hopeful since Mom is really trying so hoping it all comes together for them, if not its going to be a long month
 
Hope Do Lou's numbers come down with the dosecrease and the new juice. All positive vines to hope the kittens start to nurse on their own. Good luck.
 
Lisa, I'm so glad Do Lou's eye is getting better.. :smile:

I didn't know the babies were born. Don't know how I missed that, I've been watching for it. :-D
I'm lucky to get up at night for a couple of bg tests, let alone hand feeding kittens. I do hope they start feeding on their own soon.
 
I don't know how you do it - every 2 hours! ohmygod_smile Can DH or DS help out so you can get some sleep? I hope all the kittens get it figured out soon. Sending nursing vines.
