I've been scouring my daily journal to see what I'm doing to encourage those high preshots.
I have been feeding the way I understand to do...front loading, giving food at ps, 1,2 and 3.
He gets treats, such as FD chicken pieces, at tests.

What I see that I don't see others doing is "supper". All my life, supper has been a given, so I do it for the cats too. Is this wrong? Should I NOT be giving him a meal at +9, or so?
Could that be triggering the high preshots?

He has had a nice cycle today. He is at 57 at +5. He's eating a little LC.
Is there anything I can do, to keep him from going pink again for pmps?

I don't give a big portion late in the cycle. It's maybe a teaspoon of food -- if that. You may want to experiment and see if numbers are better if you reduce the amount or eliminate the late in the cycle food. If you're going to make a change, I'd give it at least a week to see if it's working.

mocha gets fed a 1/4 portion of a 5.5oz can at amps, then at +4 she get's 1/8 and also at +8 she get's 1/8 of the can. At her pmps she gets another 1/4 can. Then she get's an 1/8 of the can at PM +3 +4.5 +6 and +9. Of course that varies if she needs HC or MC to bring up numbers.

Yay, yellow pmps, instead of the usual pink. I didn't feed the usual +9 meal. He let me know he was starved, but turned up his nose at a few pieces of roasted chicken, so sorry Checkers, you weren't starving. :lol:

Sometimes the food thing requires experimenting and tweaking. You'll figure it out. I like that he is getting more green now!
 
Only thing I can suggest is maybe try a +8 snack instead of +9. For Muffin's OTJ trial I was told to check 3-4 hrs after eating - if Mr P is working, sometimes it takes 4 hrs to see it.
 
Nice low yellow pmps Checkers I try not to feed DL past +8 or it does affect his numbers but I know ECID so like the others said you can just experiment I am still trying to get DL's figured out myself
