10/2 Cameron AMPS 123, PMPS 214, +3 239

Right?! What do you think about keeping him at this dose, assuming mostly blues, until i get back from NY?

Leah why do you separate out the current month from the previous months?

When I look at the ss today and saw only two days I thought there was something wrong with my computer, then I realised there was more data.
Whenever I comment on a condo, I look at the ss, and though it's true that the most important data is the most recent, you want to at least be looking at the last two weeks. But it's not unusual for me to look back through more data and history, and see the flow of the ss, I look for discrepancies that might suggest dose is too high or that there is something else going on, any advice I give would be dependent on all of that.
So for example when you are asking about a vacation dose, I would be looking to see the numbers over the last couple of weeks, but I also want to see if he is overall trending down or up, I can't do that when I have to keep flipping between two views.
I am not the only one that looks at ss in this way, its what most of the most experienced CG do.
It would really help us to help you better if you just kept to the usual format of having all the years data on in one place rather than splitting the month out, you are doing yourself a disservice.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.

BTW he is looking quite nice.

As for the vacation dose, I agree with @Mandy & Rex it's too early to figure that out. Who will be giving insulin? will they be testing? You need to take that into consideration when deciding.

I really hate having it all together and having to scroll down forever, on my phone. Visually it hurts ;)

My husband will be the primary caregiver. He's great at giving the insulin, terrible at getting the BS. So the most he'll be able to get is the AM/PM PS and a +3 at night, especially because he works all day and can't run home to test. I was thinking if he keeps holding steady in the high-greens, into the blue, I won't try to adjust his dose right now because I'd rather he be safe and slightly higher while I'm gone. If I weren't going away, I'd run a curve and probably try a fat 0.5 for 6 cycles to see if that gives him more green. His 0.75 depot is now fully gone, and I can really see that in the solid blues he's showing.

I'm a major planner. I like to think about things WAY before I need to, and plan out many contingencies. (You should see me when we travel. I have a binder with things to do based on cost, weather, time of day, how long the attraction will take, what is near other attractions, etc. I think it drives DH up the wall, but he also likes it because I can always whip a plan out of my proverbial pocket!)

I'm really unhappy with these yellows and lacks of greens he's been showing since the reducie 8 cycles ago, I feel like he's backsliding. I'm tempted to try a fat 0.5. Good idea? Bad idea? Just an idea and I have to make the call idea?

What sort of numbers do you want him to run in while you are gone? Getting to some upper green isn't bad. 0.5 units may also be easier for your hubby to draw in the syringe. If you increased tomorrow, you'd have to wait until six cycles later to get a real picture of what a fattened dose could do, and whether you'd want to see those range of numbers while you are gone. Since Cameron did get to the 30's on 0.75, that might be a bit dicey.

You're right. I shouldn't be upset by a few higher numbers. I need to put my patience pants on and chill out ;)
