Leah why do you separate out the current month from the previous months?
When I look at the ss today and saw only two days I thought there was something wrong with my computer, then I realised there was more data.
Whenever I comment on a condo, I look at the ss, and though it's true that the most important data is the most recent, you want to at least be looking at the last two weeks. But it's not unusual for me to look back through more data and history, and see the flow of the ss, I look for discrepancies that might suggest dose is too high or that there is something else going on, any advice I give would be dependent on all of that.
So for example when you are asking about a vacation dose, I would be looking to see the numbers over the last couple of weeks, but I also want to see if he is overall trending down or up, I can't do that when I have to keep flipping between two views.
I am not the only one that looks at ss in this way, its what most of the most experienced CG do.
It would really help us to help you better if you just kept to the usual format of having all the years data on in one place rather than splitting the month out, you are doing yourself a disservice.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.
BTW he is looking quite nice.
As for the vacation dose, I agree with
@Mandy & Rex it's too early to figure that out. Who will be giving insulin? will they be testing? You need to take that into consideration when deciding.
