Hi FDMB,

Shelly continues to cruise. Her numbers were slightly higher yesterday, in the blues, but we also started a new Libre so that could be part of it. We are getting more used to the Libre alarm. It goes off anytime the BG goes under 55. BUT then it consistently recalibrates to a higher number. Our approach is to manual test if the BG drops to 50 or below, but that has not happened for about 8 days. This is day 7 of this dose. Some of her preshots seem higher than ideal, but then it seems like her overall numbers are good. Open to thoughts.

Hi Carina, are you using a phone that sits near Shelly to send the Libre readings to your phone?

If so, I was wrapping Ivy’s phone in a few towels to dampen the alarm on her phone so it didn’t go off and scare her constantly.
I figured my phone was getting the notification alarms, so I would know if she was low. No need to scare my kitty constantly.
(and then after a long while of using the towels, I came up with a soundproof box and I keep her phone in that and that really muffles the alarms).
It’s super helpful and keeping her calmer.
