I ran out of the food I use to make J.D.'s syringes, and the Pet Store is not open, like I would have time to go get it.
I scraped together 6 syringes and he usually gets 7, so I am mixing up some Fancy Feast, which is less calories, and giving him two syringes of that.
This morning, he got 2 syringes at +11, and I have given him 2.5 syringes of his next 4, when he was struggling to get up. In the past when I let him up, he has right away gone potty. So, I took the hint and let him up. He went to his litter box and the pee pads in front of it, but didn't go, then he started heading to the bathroom, where he will sometimes go on the tiles. I scooped him up and sat him back down on the couch and I finished giving him the 1.5 syringes he had left. I got up afterwards and was in the kitchen washing syringes, when J.D. followed me in and was standing next to my feet when he peed right there. I guess he showed me in his cat language.
Time for one more feeding, one more quick walk, and then off to tbp. I hope he goes slowly down in BGs, today.
