I left out 4 tsps of food last night when I went to bed. Got up this morning and there was still about 1/3 of it left. Muffin is hungry this morning, but only buried her breffis and went off to look for something else to eat. She came back and finally licked it once or twice, then buried it again. Now she's finally eating some of it. Only thing I can think of is that breffis #1 comes from a fresh can. Maybe I'll put a can in the fridge the night before, so it's cold in the morning? That's all I can think of that's different between that one meal and every other one she gets. I had cut the water back, too, to about a 1:1 ratio - maybe that's not soupy enough for her - that could explain her not eating it all last night - if it was too thick at the bottom. :YMSIGH: Why does she have to be SOOO picky? :lol: Other than that, Muffin is well. She was denied outside time this morning, so I'll let her do that. Peeing and purring present and accounted for. Have a great day!

+1 107 She ate breffis #1 down to where it was no longer soupy. Breffis #2 served extra soupy and she's working on it now. Weighed in at 12.1 today. Off to the dentist for me, back later.

Hi Ele - Thank you. Thinking about moving to SoCal she's getting so good on her surfboard! :lol:

What lovely consistent numbers again for Muffin. Tess is very finicky about Wellness food too. I've never made it as soupy as you do, but when she gets the water out she leaves the sticky stuff on the bottom of her dish. :roll: She even manages to separate it out when I mix it with other food! Have you tried any other foods to see if Muffin will go for them now?

My civie likes his food soupy too, these cats are very particular.

The food battle....it will never end will it? My two always prefer what is int he OTHER one's dish...enough to drive a Bean crazy!! Great AMPS Muffin!! :mrgreen:

Hey Muffin, you are doing really well! My crystal ball says good things are in your future if you keep eating that wet stuff. I hope your mommy has taken some nice photos of you. :mrgreen:

I hear you Anne. The food issues drive me nuts. I'm a little psyhcho to begin with anyway....But it makes me just a tad nuttier.

Nice AMPS for Muffin, doing her usual good job with the numbers! I have one civie that will do the same thing, licking up the soupy part and leaving the food that sticks to the bottom of the bowl! She's a little picky, but nothing like the queen of pickiness, Ms Muffin! :razz: Good luck at the dentist.

Great numbers and Do Lou is just the opposite he hates cold food and he will bury what he loves fresh :roll: these cats so hard to please

96 @ +3 My little Muffin is just perfection in a fur coat these days, I couldn't be happier! :lol: Eating breffis #umm..3? Yep, skipped the +2 feeding, as she was sleeping.

Ann - I tried mixing wellness chicken in once, but she wouldn't eat it, so I decided to just let her be for a little while. Eventually I'd like to get her on a poultry flavor, but I'm not really expecting her to adopt multiple flavors. Variety has NEVER been the spice of HER life! :lol: Routine, routine, routine for her.

Thanks Iorwen, I'm loving her numbers lately, and yes, picky picky picky!
Pat - I don't have much of that prefering what the others are eating around here. Except for Shnookie, who prefers what it is in his bowl AND everything left behind by the others :lol:
CD - I'm liking your crystal ball, and yes, I have been taking lots more pictures....just in case. (anti-jinx)
Hi Tena, Hi Lisa - It is a bit of a puzzle, figuring out what to feed them - my civies get picky too. I've learned to put one kind out and pass it around until I find a cat that will eat it that day, then go from there for the others. :lol:
Laurie - The queen of pickiness for sure!

Dentist wants to wait another month to let me heal more before doing the next step, so...no dentist bill today! I'm off to spend it on new clothes instead! :lol:

Anne...could these numbers be any prettier??? She is doing so phenomenally and eating, too!!! Thank you for always being there for us. I hope you have a fantastic day shopping with those saved dental $$$.

101 @ +5 Feeling a little silly for putting her thru all the pokies, but I think I'll finish the day, just to fill in the boxes. :lol: And she doesn't seem to mind at all.

Thanks Marjorie. Only got one outfit shopping, so wasn't too successful there, but got out cheap, so that's good! :lol:

Gracie says that ain't alot of pokin....come to her house. Her beans are crazy!!! I'm hoping that soon we will be able to predict her a little more. Muffin is so nice and steady....you are really lucky!

Ok...we cans hang out!! Wants to come here? My bean doesn't has to work. Guess what...there was a BLACK CAT hangin out in my yard near my kitty cage. Daddybean says he doesn't know how it lives there with the WILD CATS AND DOGS who come here!! I hopes he doesn't get eaten but he scares me.

Gracie - I'd LUBS to come to your place. My brudder is big and black, and scary looking, so I don't blame yous for bein scareds, but my mamabean says my brudder is just a big sweetie. Comes on over...I gots a baby brother but he's real cute....hims got the biggest eyes you ever seen like Puss n Boots in the Shreks movie and he likes to wrestles with me but I'm still bigger than hims...he's lots of fun when he's not being a brat. Binks can bring his torti girl if he wants and Mannie and Tess and Moonie and Raja and Shadow and Spots...all of them!!
