A nice lower start today - we'll see how the rest of the morning goes. It's vet day, and it's vet day with claw trim trim and blood draw, so we got a good sized dose of gabapentin, and that usually makes her nauseous (so far so good today on that not happening [knock on wood]) and it usually can make her trend lower with her numbers. Especially since I got pretty much the whole dose in. And she's not even as cranky with me as she usually is on gabapentin day. But I'll be home all day today to keep an eye on her.
Ceiling cat doesn't seem to like to eat in the first half of the day, but rather eats a lot more late afternoon into evening. Which is sort of the schedule he had eating in my office, since people were more likely to be around in the morning/early afternoon. There's a linen closet with a door in the bathroom he's in, and he's determined to get into said room. He is able to stick his paw under and grab at things and try to force the door open (it's latched, that's a no go bud). He also apparently got really mad and knocked a package of daytime cold meds onto the floor, then destroyed the box. None of the pills or pills slots are punctured, so I'm 99% sure he didn't get into the actual meds.
Hope folks are having a good Monday.
