Hi to all my LL buddies from me and Maggie,
I just wanted to stop by and post a quick update on Maggie. She was three months OTJ officially yesterday! I hope it will give some of the new Beans some encouragement. I stop by quite often and read condos but don't always post. I find I am still learning from all of you.

Maggie is doing just great and enjoying her leisurely life at the Falls. Her last bg was 106 on the Alpha Trak which is within range, as this meter reads higher than the human meter. I just bought an Accu-Chek meter as a back-up and love the way it just takes a small drop blood and the strip sucks it up so fast. All P's are in place with Maggie girl . I do have to give her a little Miralax every few days to keep her regular. She loves to eat, so no weight loss. She could stand to lose a pound or two, but I'm not pressing it. She is due for her six month senior check-up, so we'll see what the Vet says about her weight. Thanks to all who helped me with Maggie and getting her into remission. It never would have happened without LL. Take care everyone and hugs from me and Maggie!

Hi Ann and Maggie...that's a great Alpha Track number, but didn't you retest with the Accu-check? I am so disappointed to see only one number...and on an Anniversary day too...

LOLOLOLOL Only kidding! I remember the drill with the two meters!!! Do you? ;-)

So happy that you are enjoying your Life at the Falls!!! This is great news! So nice to see you both!!

Hey Ann! Congratulations to Maggie on her 3 month anniversary! I love these good news condos! It is great to hear that she is enjoying the leisurely life at the falls. I can just picture her sitting in a lounge chair sipping an ice tea with mint... no make that catnip leaves instead of mint.

And that is a very nice Alpha-Track OTJ number for her... ignore Pat and her requests for more and more tests, she's a crazy cat testing lady. (love ya' Pat!)

Hi Pat,
Oh you rascal! You caught me again! Just look at my SS in the Remarks section, and you will see that I was comparing meters just to get the feel of the new one. I was trying to be sly and not mention it, but you caught me again! Soon the Accu-Chek will replace the Alpha Trak! Yes, I do remember the drill with the two meters, and we had a lot of fun with it.

Hi CD,
Thanks and yes, Maggie is enjoying lounging at the pool and drinking ice tea with catnip leaves. This must be the reason why she can't lose any weight, huh! It sure could not be the Bean's fault. Take care, and it's so good to see everyone in LL.

I can't believe it's been 3 months already!!! Way to go Maggie!

Hope you're enjoying the freedom, Ann!

Hi Ann!

Just popping in before bedtime, and what a nice surprise to see you posting a special milestone for Maggie!

Happy Happy 3 months and many many more OTJ celebrations!
Wonderful report!
