J.D. ate a little food on his own this morning and has had three walks in the rain, and gave me a really nice prezzie out there. He got dried off each time with a towel and is currently sleeping in my bedroom.

J.D. ate 7 temptations at +6. We went for a walk, and fed the squirrels (I have the babies approaching me now, too).
When we got home, J.D. was making his nervous noises (like he does when he gets pills and syringes), and I thought he might be feeling like he needs some food. I took him to his food bowl with the left over food, but that did not interest him. I got out a clean bowl and opened a can of fresh FF and he ate a bunch :thumbup That made me happy. I want to know he'll eat if he feels he needs to. Of course, he didn't eat the old left over food from breakfast :-|

I had to read your subject line a couple of times to digest it. At first I thought "oh no, low numbers 'cause he's not eating!" but then I saw the "ate :)" and couldn't wait to read more! :mrgreen:

Hooray for eating a bunch on his own!! :-D :-D :-D Of course it has to be fresh - my kitties are exactly the same way. Sometimes I can "fool" them by adding some water to freshen it up, but they rarely fall for that one.

Sending lots more good appy vines. Let's make this a habit, J.D.!
