Re: 10/11 Furball, AMPS=289
Good morning Carla and Furball! I'm not surprised about the syringes from what everyone says around here. My current box is screwy. I'm waiting for my calipers. I count drops from a unit line and the last couple the number of drops to the 1/2 unit changed :-| It would be nice to see what Leo's numbers looked like if he actually got the same correct dose every shot!
A lot of ReLion syringes were recalled in 2008 because they were mislabeled. If you wanted to, you, as a consumer, can file an adverse event report with FDA to complain about problems like this. FDA has a
MedWatch system for anyone to use. It asks for information like lot numbers, description of the problem, was anyone hurt, etc. No one has to be hurt to file a report. Inaccurate syringes is a perfect thing to report because someone
could be overdosed. You don't have to fill out everything, just what's relevant. FDA DOES take all these reports seriously. I submitted a report a few years ago for a food problem, and they contacted me for a sample. In some cases, ReLion would have had to report your complaint to FDA anyway, especially if yours was not the only complaint, so it's not like you're starting something big by filling out the form. I work for FDA - MedWatch helps everyone keep unsafe products off the market.
Anyway, I'm not saying you have to go do that - I'm just giving the information here to anyone to help keep our families and kitties safe. Some people may trash FDA, but there's a lot of good stuff happening there.
Have a great day! Ok happy, purry Furball, slide down a little, ok?
