Chloe is indeed looking great! Is there a reason you shot only 2U tonight? You've shot similar levels before.

OTJ trials are started when a cat stays in the normal range (50-100 mg/dl) at the lowest dose of insulin (0.10U or a drop). For now, Chloe is looking good but she needs to demonstrate that she needs less and less insulin by earning reductions.

I got scared at that 79 I guess. Which looking back isn’t even low so I shouldn’t have shot 2, and just stuck with 2.5 and then gave her something to eat at +4 like I did.
We are making progress but still a way to go! Thank you for your help @Bandit's Mom :bighug:

Yes, you have shot at 85 which is more or less the same number as 79 given meter variance. And Lantus is very good at giving you flat cycles when you shoot low :-)

That’s true, I have… you’re right! I was a bit off myself yesterday; finishing up a class and working full time for the first time ever so I’m a bit overwhelmed some days.. no excuse I know but I’ll chalk up my brain mush to that :) for the day anyways. Appreciate the feedback! Back to the grind with my girl :cat:
