AMPS = 239; gave ONE DROP Lev
I tried an old U40 syringe. Squish plunger, insert into cartridge, wait a moment, remove.... one drop gets pushed out. Beautiful! Donovan was eyeballing the larger syringe, but I told him to trust me :cool:

AM +3 = 102

interesting approach to measuring a dose.

Newbies note: MJ is NOT actually using a U-40 syringe to measure Levemir, don't try this at home! She is simply taking advantage of the slightly larger needle to help deliver a teeeeeeny drop of insulin into the cat. Her dose defies all attempts at measurement, lol!

AM +5 = 84 :mrgreen:

This dose may work with some other U100s I have w/o half-markings. Have not tried yet. Just figured, these U40s are just gathering dust.

awesome! that "drop" of insulin did it's thing...

PMPS = 86; gave 1 drop Lev

Coulda shoulda woulda got more BG readings today.... had to go out. Not sure if he surfed in the 80s or went lower between +5 and PMPS. I'm home for the night and can check him. Not particularly worried about giving ONE drop. Damn, if I have to go lower than that, I'm screwed :lol:
 
So glad you got that damn dose figured out. Hahaha! Drops, zeros, syringes, what a crazy condo.... or should I be accurate and say crazy MJ?
