Hi all, Chispa surprised me today with a low number during an online work meeting. Luckily my coworkers are pet lovers and understood when I carried the laptop to the kitchen to warm up her rice sock, then to the testing spot, then back to the kitchen to dole out a package of MC 13%, never missing a beat in the conversation. She used her Ancient Cat Wisdom to eat only as much MC as she needed, then curled up for a nap on the sofa to recover her equilibrium.
Here is my question: Since eliminating chicken from her diet, she has been pooping 2-3x/day (normal poop, not diarrhea). A friend suggested this could be her body's way of detoxing from the chicken. Does anyone know?
The same friend wonders if her on-and-off vision loss could be related to daily BG fluctuations. Her eyes have been examined repeatedly by a vet opthamologist and two internists, who see no physical changes to explain it. I am going to start testing when I see her bumping into walls to find out if there's a pattern.
Hope everyone's week is off to a great start!
