Only one test strip left, but I'm pretty sure I'll be getting new supplies in tomorrow (Friday at the latest). Thank God for Hocks.com. The local pharmacies want $70 for a box of 50 test strips!
Roo continues to act like Roo. His appetite is good, he has not thrown up since taking him off dry food and vetsulin, and at least once a day he yells at the fish in the fish tank for not letting him catch them.
I have found a new pet-sitter whom I have hired to come over the two mornings a week that I have the long commute, so his shot times are now 8:30am and 8:30pm. A much saner arrangement. Only thing is, I will rarely be doing evening spot checks because I am almost never awake past 9pm, at least during this time of year when it gets dark by 4:30pm. By 9pm it feels like midnight.
I'll start doing spot-testing again as soon as I get the strips. By the way, is there any reason to not re-use lancets if you sterilize them in rubbing alcohol?
Love the new smilies. cat(2)_steam
