For some reason, Neko likes wearing her pink tutu to curling practice these days. While it does mean I'm saving on strips these days, it's also hurting my head.

Neko does seem to be showing some signs of improvement with the Cartrophen shots. As DH said, she doesn't seem quite as stiff as a month ago. She is using the bathtub LB more often, and just this morning she disappeared downstairs before test time to use the LB there instead of the more convenient one upstairs. And she came hopping back up the stairs at a fairly good clip. But she's not running like the civie (who is 3 years younger) and still not hopping on the kitchen stool that gives her access to the counter. Although I'd rather she not go on the counter, I'd like her to feel like she could. So, after a late discussion with the vetty last night (she called at 8:45
), I'm going to pick up a 3 day trial of bupe to see if a low dose will help Neko feel better. Vetty is off now until Monday, so hence the few days of trial. In the back of my mind, I've always worried if Neko is feeling some pain due to the acromegaly.
Neko is currently ignorant of my angst, lying in her bed in the solarium enjoying the sunshine. As much as she professes she doesn't like Theo, it's funny how often they copy each other. He was out there first, so she went out and now they are both grooming in the sun at the same time.
