Donovan, how cool is this? But did you have to do it in the middle of the night and keep MJ awake... yes, of course he did.
What I like about this is that based on your SS, Donovan may not bounce. I saw the 57 back on Dec 20 with no resulting bounce.

Do you want to see how low he goes without HC? Test again in 30 minutes. (Or in less than 30 min. if you want to, of course.)
I wouldn't have used the HC right away either, and I would have done what you did by feeding LC first.

I always reach for LC first too, unless I get something incredibly low at +1 or whatever. You did good. 
If you do want to go to bed soon, though, you can always just HC and test in 30.

30 min post food (15 min after 2nd LC FF snack) = 57
At least it's not going down. And his ears are all toasty warm. Another check in 15 before I can remotely feel comfortable about this....

MJ would you like to try the Fat Zero dose... (aka the Luna dose?) Basically just squeeze off a drop or so of Donovan's current dose. He doesn't seem quite ready to go it completely without insulin, yet just a whiff could get him there. And hide all the dry from the sneaky Donovan to make sure he keeps these beautiful green numbers.
