yesterday's condo: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=33451
Spot has been the purrrrfect of kitties lately! He slept beside me for most of the night and was very patient this morning waiting for his test since I had to tend to Ralphie (more on him in a few). He was not the furry purry fellow for his test, tho, but he sat on my lap and waited for his treat afterwards. Very patient in regards to having to wait for his breakfast. Ate his breakfast and then proceeded to go sit on the recliner, where I left him all nice and snug.
At 4:45 am, Molly jumped off the bed and started to bark. I wasn't sure what was going on so I got up to check things out. Ali and Spot were just sitting around and Ralph was walking around. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary, but then I heard my mom say, look in the bathroom, I think I heard a noise in there. Before I went to check it out, I gave Ralph some love and his belly was soaking wet. I'm like, wth....looked in the bathroom, thinking that maybe he fell in the toilet, but no, nothing out of the ordinary there. Checked in the entry way, where their water dish was and there it was....the dish was upset and water was all over the floor. The only thing I can think of is that Ralph got "stuck" in the corner (he's been going in corners lately and just standing there) and somehow stepped in the bowl and got himself all wet. I picked him up and dried him off with a towel and then the blow dryer on low. He handled it well. I then let him relax a little while I got ready for work and gave him his meds. Oh, how he hates that tramadol. He foams at the mouth and gets this look on his face and he stiffins up. I'm beginning to doubt whether this is his teeth causing him these problems. Maybe he had a stroke or something...I just don't know. All I know is that I want my Ralphie back. He walks and walks and walks and when he finally lays down to sleep he doesn't put his little head down. I have a call into the vet this morning, they aren't answering phones yet. Going to see if I can push up the dental date, just to get that done and then see what we can do for him. Please, pray for a miracle.
As for me and mom, we are feeling better. Mom took the day off from work today, I feel well enough to venture out. Would have liked another day of rest, but I have to many things to do. I don't think I will be able to visit many condo's this morning, sorry, but I will be hoping that everyone is having a wonderful day and that all kitties remain happy and healthy!
