It's official. Today is 16 days off insulin. Thank you so much for all the support and guidance this group has provided over the last 2.5 years since his diagnosis. Acromegaly threw us for a loop! My inexperience and impatience likely caused delays but he's done it for the time being. He's 7 months post starting the carbergoline. Cheers to Tiger continuing to beat the odds! and to me for being able to sleep in again. :)

Such good news, congratulations!! It is so nice to see, especially with the acromegaly. You should be proud of yourself, that is a lot to handle. Enjoy your sleep! :otj::otj:

Just an FYI, that GA tag is for cats that have passed and "Gone Away/Ahead" (Guardian Angel). Just don't want folks to be alarmed about Tiger.
 
Did anyone give you the OTJ trial instructions way back when? They'll tell you how often to keep testing. FWIW, his numbers are a little higher than what we like to see for a cat in remission on a human meter. He should be mostly green. Hopefully it's just Tiger normal.

Over time in remission, I have seen some people move to every other day cabergoline.

I'll take care of that prefix!
